WAYNE DOMENEY CONSETT AND BEDWORTH: SHOCKING CHILD SEX OFFENDER SENTENCED TO 17 YEARS

Later, Domeney appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Friday, 23 March, for sentencing. The charges against Domeney are particularly disturbing and include one count of raping a female under the age of 13, along with three counts of raping females aged between 13 and 15. He was also convicted of assaulting a girl under 13 by penetration, engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a girl aged 13 to 15, and inciting a child to participate in sexual acts. Additionally, Domeney was found guilty of witness intimidation, further highlighting the severity of his criminal conduct.

The case initially drew attention in February 2018 when Warwickshire detectives issued a public appeal for information regarding Domeney’s whereabouts. Authorities described him as a convicted child rapist who was believed to be hiding in the North East of England, specifically in Consett.
