July 2023 Colchester man Wanderson Teixeira jailed for sex offences A “monster” who left a young woman feeling like “a piece of meat” after two-and-a-half years of sexually abusing her has been jailed for six years Wanderson Teixeira, previously of Ipswich Road, Colchester, who arrived in the UK from Brazil 17 years ago sent the victim explicit pictures and videos. He also indecently exposed himself to her and ramped up his sickening campaign the more he realised the victim was too afraid to speak out. The abuse was described as a horrific campaign of sexual abuse Chelmsford Crown Court heard the delivery driver made the victim perform repeated sex acts on him. He was eventually arrested by the police after she confided in a close friend. Teixeira, 41, initially denied what he had done over a period of two-and-a-half years. However, he confessed a litany of offences days before he was due to face a trial. He admitted four offences of exposure and two offences each of causing a child to watch a sexual act, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child and causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent. The defendant also admitted a further eight counts of another sexual offence. He was jailed for six years and will spend a further four years on licence following his release. A statement from Teixeira’s victim, read to the court, said: “He has been a monster in my life. A monster that has repeatedly made me feel worthless and like a piece of meat. “He has changed my life forever. I’m not the same person any longer and sadly I will never be again.” Teixeira was made to sign the sex offenders register for an indefinite period. A restraining order banning contact with the victim was made indefinintely.
