A 21-year-old man named Vithusan Puvaneswaran has been sentenced to a year in prison after being found guilty of accessing and downloading child abuse images through the dark web. The investigation was initiated when the National Crime Agency (NCA) traced his IP address, which led to a detailed raid at his residence in Hayes, Middlesex.

During the operation, authorities uncovered a substantial collection of illegal material stored on his devices. The evidence included approximately 100 gigabytes of disturbing images and videos, some involving infants, which were deemed highly disturbing and illegal.
