COLWYN BAY MAN CHARGED AFTER DOG-WALKING ASSAULT NEAR EIRIAS PARK
A man has been charged with sexually assaulting a female dog walker.The incident happened near Eirias Park Leisure Centre on Monday evening (6 October).
It saw police launch an appeal.
On the evening of Wednesday, 8 October, officers arrested a man in connection with the incident.
He has now been charged in connection with the incident.
North Wales Police said: "The offence involved a female victim who was walking her dog near to the Eirias Park Leisure Centre on Monday evening (6 October)." 25-year-old Tyler Evans from Colwyn Bay has been charged with sexual assault by touching, exposure and possession of a controlled drug class B – cannabis.
He has been remanded to appear before Llandudno Magistrates Court on Monday, 13th October.
"We continue to appeal for information about this incident and are keen to hear from anyone who was around Eirias Park between 7pm and 8pm on Monday.
"Anyone who was driving along Abergele Road or Groes Road, or who visited the Eirias Park Leisure Centre or sports pitches during the relevant period, and who may have dashcam footage of the incident or the suspect, is urged to contact us.
