TSVETOMIR LAZAROV CAUGHT IN WISEBECH: BOLD SEX OFFENDER SENTENCED IN PETERBOROUGH

In August 2023, a disturbing case unfolded involving Tsvetomir Lazarov, a Bulgarian national residing in Wisbech, who was apprehended and subsequently exposed by a dedicated paedophile hunting team. Lazarov’s actions, which involved attempting to groom young girls for sexual purposes, led to his appearance before Peterborough Crown Court, where he faced serious criminal charges.

During the court proceedings, Lazarov pleaded guilty to multiple counts related to his misconduct. Specifically, he admitted to causing three girls aged between 13 and 15 to engage in penetrative sexual activities. These allegations highlight the severity of his actions and the danger he posed to vulnerable minors.

In addition to these charges, Lazarov was also convicted of attempting to meet a child following acts of sexual grooming. This particular offence underscores his intent to carry out further illegal activities involving minors, which authorities took very seriously.

Following the guilty plea, Lazarov was sentenced to a prison term of 30 months. The court also imposed a sexual harm prevention order, which will remain in effect until further notice, to restrict his activities and protect the community from potential reoffending.
