LLANDYSUL MAN ORDERED TO REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER AFTER ONLINE CHILD MESSAGING
A man named Toby Davies, aged 23, from Llandysul, was involved in an online incident where he was caught messaging what he believed to be an underage girl.The case was linked to attempts to engage in sexual communication, specifically discussing masturbation and sexual topics.
The incident occurred with Davies on February 5, 2023, who contacted the anonymous account, which was actually a decoy, pretending to be a young girl.
The authorities charged him with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child.
Davies appeared at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on June 12 and pleaded guilty to the charges.
Following his guilty plea, he was granted bail and is scheduled for sentencing on July 2.
