March 2006 No jail for pervert A MAN has escaped a jail term after admitting to molesting a young girl. Thomas Pye, of Thomas Street, Runcorn Old Town, pleaded guilty at Warrington Crown Court to two counts of causing or inciting a girl under-13 to engage in sexual activity. The 23-year-old was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £250 costs and must sign the sex offenders register for a year.
