THOMAS DODDS FROM HEBBURN SENTENCED TO 8.5 YEARS FOR RAPE IN NORTHUMBRIA

Thomas Dodds, aged 56, was involved in a serious criminal incident that took place in Hebburn, a town in Northumbria. The incident occurred when Dodds assaulted a woman who was resting in her bed after experiencing symptoms of feeling unwell and vomiting earlier that evening. The victim’s distress and the nature of her injuries prompted immediate action from law enforcement authorities.

Following the assault, a friend of the victim quickly reported the incident to the police, which led to a swift response from the Northumbria Police’s Safeguarding Department. Specialist officers from the department launched a thorough investigation into the matter, aiming to gather evidence and identify the perpetrator. On the same evening as the incident, law enforcement officers located and arrested Thomas Dodds at his residence on Thames Road in Hebburn.
