THERESA BETTS SHOCKING CHILD PORNOGRAPHY CASE IN SEAHAM REVEALED

In a disturbing case that has sent shockwaves through the community of Seaham, Theresa Gloria Betts, a 32-year-old woman, has admitted to serious criminal charges involving the exploitation of young children. The offences occurred at her residence on Queensberry Road, Seaham, during the period from April to October of the previous year, 2006.

According to court records presented at Durham Crown Court, Betts was accused of showing a sexually explicit film to children as young as five years old. The charges specifically allege that she caused children, whose ages ranged from five to 15, to watch a sexual act on a film for her own personal gratification. These allegations highlight a deeply troubling breach of trust and a grave violation of the innocence of the young victims involved.

Initially, Betts denied all the charges brought against her. However, on the day scheduled for her trial, she unexpectedly changed her plea and admitted to four counts of causing a child to watch a sexual act.
