TERENCE MOORE FROM NEWCASTLE CAUGHT AGAIN BY PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS TRYING TO MEET UNDERAGE BOYS
In a disturbing series of events that have once again cast a shadow over the city of Newcastle, Terence Moore, a 52-year-old man with a troubling history, was caught in the act of attempting to meet underage boys for sexual purposes.This incident marks the second time in just three months that Moore has been apprehended by vigilant paedophile hunters, highlighting the ongoing efforts of organizations like Dark Justice to protect children from exploitation.
It all began in January of this year when Moore initiated an online conversation with a person he believed was a 15-year-old boy, known by the alias 'James.' During their digital exchanges, Moore openly disclosed that he was a cross-dresser and resided at an address in Newcastle.
He repeatedly asked if 'James' wanted to visit his home, despite being informed at least four times that the other party was only 15 years old.
Moore also provided his mobile phone number, further facilitating their communication.
The conversation took a more explicit turn when Moore inquired about 'kissing, f***ing, and sucking,' to which 'James' responded that he was unsure, as he had never engaged in such activities before and was only 15.
Moore then revealed that he possessed a collection of adult baby gear, including nappies, dummies, and bottles, indicating a disturbing fetish.
On January 29, Moore arranged to meet 'James' outside his Newcastle residence.
However, the meeting was intercepted by members of Dark Justice, who had been monitoring the online chats.
They contacted Moore's mobile phone, confronted him at the designated location, and promptly called the police.
Moore was arrested at the scene, and a subsequent search of his flat uncovered a room set up as a children's nursery, complete with toys and furnishings.
Police also discovered another room filled with women's clothing, fetish outfits, and wigs.
In the kitchen, officers found various items including dummies, baby formula, adult nappies, and bibs.
Despite his previous arrest, Moore did not cease his attempts.
In March, while on bail for the initial offence, he resumed communication with another 15-year-old boy named Gary.
Moore asked to meet at the Town Moor in Newcastle, again mentioning he would bring a dummy and women's clothing.
Once more, Dark Justice operatives intervened, detaining Moore until police arrived to arrest him.
During this second confrontation, police found Moore's rucksack containing a variety of items that further underscored his disturbing interests.
Among the possessions were a pair of pink adult bloomers, a fake cigar, a baby bottle, two condoms, lipstick, a wig, and adult shoes.
These items painted a clear picture of Moore's ongoing predilections.
It is also important to note Moore's criminal history.
He previously served a four-year prison sentence in 1988 after being convicted of attempting sexual intercourse with a girl under the age of 13.
His repeated attempts to engage with minors have led to his current charges.
Moore, of Newcastle, pleaded guilty to two counts of attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming during a prior hearing.
His actions have resulted in a sentence of 26 months in prison, reflecting the serious nature of his offences and the ongoing threat he poses to the safety of children in the community.
