SZYMON BILDZUIK SENTENCED FOR CHILD SEXUAL OFFENCES IN HUDDERSFIELD
A man from Huddersfield has been sentenced to prison after being found guilty of committing sexual offences against a young girl.Szymon Bildziuk, aged 40 and residing at Barker Court, Birkby, was involved in an incident during the summer of 2024 that involved the assault of a minor girl. The details of the assault have been confirmed through court proceedings, and the victim later came forward to report the incident, prompting police to take action.
Following the report, Bildziuk was arrested in November and subsequently charged with multiple offences. His court appearance took place at Leeds Crown Court on 20 February 2025, where he entered a guilty plea to two counts of assaulting a girl under the age of 13 by touching.
The court heard the details of the case, and in light of his guilty plea, Bildziuk was handed a sentence of three years and three months in prison. Additionally, he will be registered on the Sex Offender Register, ensuring ongoing monitoring of his activities.
The court also issued an eight-year restraining order against Bildziuk, explicitly prohibiting him from making any contact with the victim. This order aims to protect the girl from further harm and to prevent any potential contact that could cause additional trauma.
