POLICE SERGEANT FACES COURT OVER SEXUAL ASSAULT CHARGES

A police sergeant named Stuart David Wallace, aged 38 and residing in Lambley Way, Great Park, Newcastle, appeared in court accused of sexual assault.

The incident allegedly involved Wallace twice cupping a woman's breasts and undoing her bra on August 2 of the previous year.

Wallace, who worked with Northumbria Police, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He spoke only to confirm his name, age, and address during the court proceedings and entered his plea.
