STEWART WALLEY FROM YEOVIL ACCUSED OF STALKING AND HARASSING CHILD'S MOTHER AFTER ASSAULT

Stewart Walley, a man recently convicted of physically assaulting a ten-year-old boy in Yeovil, has now found himself at the center of new allegations involving stalking and harassment directed at the child’s mother. The disturbing developments come after Walley’s conviction and have sent shockwaves through the local community.

Sources close to the family have revealed that Walley’s behavior took a darker turn in the months leading up to the violent incident involving the child. Friends and witnesses describe a pattern of obsessive and threatening conduct, which escalated to the point where the mother of the child felt her safety was at serious risk. Walley pleaded guilty to child assault at Yeovil Magistrates Court, but the new allegations suggest that his troubling actions did not end there.

A close friend of the family, speaking on condition of anonymity, expressed grave concern about Walley's conduct. They stated, "I feel I need to speak out and warn other women about his actions. The child’s mother lives in constant fear of him. He has threatened to kill people, and I know exactly what she has been through." The friend further explained that Walley’s possessiveness and manipulative tendencies made it impossible for the mother to feel safe after their breakup. "Before the day of the beating, Walley couldn’t accept that the child’s mother had finished the relationship due to his manipulative behaviors. He was very possessive of her, whilst treating her appallingly. He would harass her daily with constant messages and threats; he couldn’t accept the relationship was over."

On the day of the assault, witnesses say Walley was seen loitering around the family’s residence. He reportedly entered the garden of the house and then ran up the stairs to the bedrooms. The mother, upon recognizing Walley, immediately called emergency services. However, it is alleged that Walley snatched the phone from her to prevent the call from continuing. The friend recounted, "Walley was stalking the house, he had told others about it and on the day he beat the child he went into the garden and walked in through the open back door, ran up the stairs and my friend called the police. He came running down the stairs and grabbed the phone, to end the call but thankfully the police traced the call and responded. By that time, he had beaten the child, in which he tried to claim it was a scuffle, although video evidence shows Walley bending the child’s arm behind his back, to breaking point before the police arrived as kids screamed in the street."

Adding to the community’s concern, the friend emphasized that Walley’s behavior towards women has been consistently troubling. "He’s a very jealous person and a liar, all the signs of a narcissist who manipulates women. This is not the first example; it’s happened often. All women thinking of getting involved with him need to think twice for their own safety." The friend concluded with a warning, "Whilst he’s been convicted, there are a lot of people who want him convicted for more of his antics; you wouldn’t want him anywhere near your home or family."

The community’s outrage has grown following Walley’s relatively lenient sentence, which consisted of a 12-month community order and 80 hours of unpaid work. After images of the child’s injuries circulated widely on social media, many residents called for harsher punishment. The recent allegations of stalking and harassment have only heightened concerns for the safety of the mother and have reignited discussions about the adequacy of protections available for victims of domestic abuse in the area. The case continues to draw attention to the need for stronger measures to safeguard vulnerable individuals from individuals like Walley, whose actions have caused widespread alarm and distress.
