A man received a 17-year prison sentence after being convicted of his wife’s murder in North Lincolnshire.
Steven Parker, aged 26 and residing on Dragonby Road, was found guilty of killing his wife, Jane Parker, who was 25 years old.
Mrs Parker died on 27 October last year following injuries sustained during an incident at a residence on Dragonby Road.
The court proceedings concluded at Hull Crown Court.
Detective Superintendent Dena Fleming expressed her sympathy, saying, "I would like to acknowledge the support and cooperation provided by Jane Parker’s family during the investigation.
Given the difficult nature of the case, I recognize it has not been easy for them, and they have demonstrated considerable bravery and unwavering support for their three children, who have tragically lost both parents in heartbreaking circumstances."
