Hereford sex offender Stephen Wild sentenced for making indecent images of children

A SEX offender caught out after making dozens of indecent images of children has been up before the magistrates.Stephen Wild appeared before magistrates for sentencing in June after admitting three counts of making indecent photographs of a child at an earlier hearing in May.The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that he had made 11 category A indecent photographs, the most serious category, 35 of category B, and 24 of category C.The photographs had all been made in Hereford between April 24 and November 16, magistrates in Hereford were told.Wild, of Bodenham Road, Hereford, was handed a community order, fined 100, and must undergo a 12-month mental health treatment programme.The 60-year-old was ordered to register as a sex offender with the police for five years, while he was also made subject to a five-year sexual harm prevention order, which restricts his use of internet-capable devices and requires him to make his internet history available to police on request.He must also pay prosecution costs of 85 and a 114 victim surcharge
