In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, Stephen Marsh, a well-known figure from Penwortham, has been expelled from the prestigious Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) following serious allegations and court proceedings related to his inappropriate conduct.

Marsh, a 57-year-old dental technician residing on Liverpool Road in Penwortham, was found guilty of sending an indecent image of himself to a 15-year-old girl. The incident came to light during a court hearing at Preston Crown Court in January, where Marsh admitted to the charges against him. His actions have not only led to legal consequences but also to his immediate removal from the diving instructor community, where he was previously a respected member.

According to Neil Fishburne, who oversees training, quality management, and member services at PADI, the organization took swift action following the revelations.
