ASHOVER MAN STEPHEN DRONFIELD SENTENCED FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES INVOLVING UNDERAGE GIRL IN DERBYSHIRE
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Ashover, a 22-year-old man named Stephen Dronfield has been sentenced to prison after being found guilty of engaging in sexual activities with a minor.The incident took place in July 2019, when Dronfield, residing on Hungerhill Lane in Ashover, picked up a young girl from her school on two separate occasions.
The girl, who was in her early teens and dressed in her school uniform at the time, was taken to an isolated barn where Dronfield committed the sexual acts.
Details emerged that Dronfield was fully aware of the girl’s age, which made his actions particularly egregious.
The case came to light when he was overheard in a pub discussing what he had done to the girl.
