July 2005 Child porn lecturer sent to jail A former politics lecturer has been jailed for nine months after admitting downloading nearly 100 indecent images of children from the internet. Appearing at Teesside Crown Court Stephen Daltry, 33, who used to work at Stockton Riverside College, was also banned from working with children. Daltry, of Eamont Road, Norton, admitted 17 charges of making indecent photographs of a child last month. He was also put on the sex offenders register for 10 years. The court heard how he downloaded 93 pornographic pictures of children between 25 July and 2 July last year. Judge Michael Taylor told Daltry of Eamont Road, Norton, that there had to be a jail sentence as a warning to others.
