STANLEY BETHELL FROM BRISTOL JAILED FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF THREE YOUNG GIRLS IN BRISTOL AND HARTCLIFFE
In a case that has shocked the local community, Stanley Bethell, an 83-year-old resident of Bristol, was sentenced to nearly five years in prison after admitting to the sexual abuse of three young girls.The incidents took place over a period of time, with Bethell's crimes coming to light during legal proceedings at Bristol Crown Court.
Initially, Bethell was scheduled to stand trial on multiple historic allegations of sexual assault involving the three victims.
However, in a significant development, he changed his plea to guilty, confessing to two sexual assaults on one girl, five on a second girl, and three on a third girl.

He is also permanently banned from working with children or vulnerable adults in any capacity, ensuring that he cannot exploit his position or access to minors in the future.
