STAFAN TURANSKY SHOCKS DARTFORD AND KENT WITH INDECENT ACTS ON TRAIN
In a disturbing incident that has shocked the community of Dartford and the wider Kent area, Stafan Turansky, aged 37, has admitted to engaging in highly inappropriate and illegal sexual behavior while traveling on a train. The events took place in July 2013 and involved multiple victims, including a child and her mother, as well as another woman, highlighting a pattern of disturbing conduct.Turansky, who resides on Mayfield Road in Dartford, appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court on September 6 to plead guilty to two charges of exposure and two counts of performing sexual acts in the presence of a child. These charges stem from two separate incidents that occurred earlier that day, which were brought to light following his arrest the previous day. The court proceedings revealed the seriousness of his actions, which have caused considerable concern among local residents and authorities alike.
The first incident involved Turansky exposing himself and performing an indecent act in front of a young girl and her mother on a train traveling from London to Gillingham. Witnesses reported that as the family attempted to distance themselves from him, he persisted in following them, forcing the family to flee the train at Gravesend station in an effort to escape his disturbing behavior. This act of harassment left the victims and witnesses deeply shaken and prompted a police investigation.
Earlier that same day, Turansky had carried out similar inappropriate conduct towards another woman traveling between Dartford and Chatham. The repeated nature of these offenses and the fact that they occurred in public places have raised serious concerns about public safety and the need for increased vigilance on public transportation routes in the region.
Following his guilty plea, Turansky has been remanded in custody. His sentencing has been scheduled to take place at Maidstone Crown Court, although the exact date has not yet been announced. The British Transport Police issued an appeal to the public for any additional information regarding the incidents, emphasizing the importance of community cooperation in addressing such serious crimes and ensuring justice for the victims involved.
