Ultimately, the judge sentenced Mountford to six months in prison, but this sentence was suspended for two years, allowing him to avoid immediate incarceration. Additionally, Mountford was ordered to participate in the Northumbria Sex Offenders Treatment Programme and was required to pay court costs amounting to £2,200.
