SIMON LANCASTER FROM CARDIFF CAUGHT IN SEX OFFENDER CASE AT TREFOREST
A man identified as Simon Lancaster, residing in Cardiff, has found himself at the center of a serious legal matter involving the possession of indecent images.Despite admitting to his offences in court over two months ago, Lancaster has yet to inform his employer about his conviction, raising concerns about transparency and public safety.
Simon Lancaster, aged 44 and living in the Hillrise area of Pentwyn, appeared before Cardiff Magistrates' Court on a recent Wednesday to face sentencing.
The court proceedings revealed that Lancaster had pleaded guilty on June 11 to two charges related to the possession of indecent photographs.
Although none of the images fell into the most severe category A classification, one was categorized as B and three as C.
The offences were committed over a span of nearly three years, from January 2019 through November 2022.
During the hearing, District Judge Stephen Harmes addressed Lancaster directly, questioning his intentions regarding disclosure to his employer.
Lancaster responded vaguely, stating he would inform his employer
