PERVERT SNARED BY PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS WANTED SEX WITH FOUR-YEAR-OLD BOY
A man with a disturbing online persona who expressed a desire for sexual contact with a four-year-old was caught by paedophile hunting volunteers but was ultimately not sentenced to prison.Shaun Parrott, who used the alias ‘Bimale Rape Me,’ believed he was communicating with a 13-year-old girl named Amy.
During their online exchanges, he expressed intentions to harm her family members aged four and eight and even sent her a photo depicting an erect penis.
Unaware that he was talking to members of the Newcastle-based paedophile hunting group Dark Justice, the 44-year-old from MacKenzie Road, Leasowe, engaged with the fake profile.
The court was told that a volunteer created the 'Amy' profile on the dating app Qeep, using a picture of a female volunteer who looked much younger.
Within about 20 minutes of the profile’s creation, Parrott initiated contact with Amy.
Using his real photo and providing his name and age, he was told she was 13 and from Newcastle.
Parrott responded by thanking her for her honesty and then asked provocative questions, such as “Are you a virgin honey, or a naughty girl?” When she replied she was a virgin, he expressed interest in teaching her about sex and asked if she wanted to meet, emphasizing he would come to see her if she kept it secret.
Over the following days, he furthered his intentions, asking if she was “horny” and requesting her address so they could meet.
He also proclaimed his love for her and stated he wanted to have her baby.
However, he later claimed he couldn’t meet her out of fear she would report him to the police after they had sex.
The conversation took a darker turn when Amy asked how he would react if he became angry; he responded with violent threats, telling her to answer “now” or her mother would be killed.
Parrott pressed for sexual encounters and asked Amy to send explicit photos.
He also sent a photo of a penis—not his own—and admitted to having sex with an eight-year-old girl.
When Amy shared details about her younger relatives, a boy and girl, he expressed his desire to harm them too, asking for images of the children and stating he wanted to “touch her mum.” After Parrott repeatedly made excuses for not meeting Amy, Dark Justice alerted the police on September 7.
Officers arrested him, and he confessed to sending the messages but claimed the threats were not real.
Prosecutor Simon Duncan noted that Parrott’s online username was “disturbing” and his interest in even younger children along with his threatening language was deeply troubling.
Judge Neil Flewitt, QC, observed that Parrott’s choice of handle and his predilection for “younger” children, coupled with the threats, was concerning.
He remarked that these threats might have been bravado, and if Amy had been a real 13-year-old, the threats would have been profoundly upsetting.
Given the absence of an actual victim and recognizing that Parrott was a socially isolated individual who may not have acted on his words, the judge opted for a suspended sentence.
Parrott was sentenced to 12 months in prison, suspended for two years.
The judge stated that immediate imprisonment wouldn’t address underlying issues and recommended Parrott participate in a 10-day Rehabilitation Activity Requirement and a sex offenders’ treatment program.
He was also ordered to register as a sex offender and adhere to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for ten years.
