SHAUN MORRISON PERTH MAN ACCUSED OF HEADBUTTING PREGNANT EX AND RACIST RANT AT FACE TIME
A court hearing has been scheduled for Shaun Morrison, a 29-year-old man from Perth, who faces serious allegations involving violence against his pregnant ex-partner and violations of COVID-19 restrictions.The case details a series of troubling incidents that have brought Morrison into the criminal justice system, highlighting concerns over both domestic violence and public health compliance.
According to prosecutors, the first incident occurred on March 27 at Darnhall Drive in Perth.
Morrison is accused of using a video call via FaceTime to verbally abuse his ex-partner, making derogatory and threatening remarks.
It is alleged that during this call, he threatened to visit her residence and carry out acts of violence.
The prosecution claims that Morrison then attended her property, where he allegedly knocked on her door repeatedly and engaged in threatening behavior.
These actions are said to have been in violation of the Health Protection (coronavirus) legislation, which restricts movement and gatherings during the pandemic.
However, Morrison has denied the allegations of physically assaulting his ex-partner, specifically the claim that he headbutted her in the face on the same day.
He maintains that he was not at her property and did not engage in any violent conduct.
Despite this, the evidence presented suggests a pattern of aggressive behavior and harassment.
Further charges relate to an incident on April 4 at the same address, where Morrison allegedly called the woman and issued a death threat.
The prosecution asserts that Morrison's actions included repeated visits to her home, knocking on her door multiple times, and being outside her residence without a valid reason, all in breach of COVID-19 restrictions.

At Dundee Sheriff Court, Morrison, who is associated with the Ark Housing Association at Arkbrae in Perth, pleaded not guilty to all charges.

Mustard a “black b******” and a “black n*****,” language that was captured and reported to authorities.
He later attempted to apologize for his remarks, but the apology was rejected by Mr.
Mustard.
Morrison appeared at Perth Sheriff Court for sentencing after being found guilty of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and making racist remarks during the FaceTime call on August 6, 2019.
The court also heard that Morrison, who lives in supported accommodation on Fairies Road in Perth, had previously breached bail conditions by approaching the woman involved in the earlier incidents twice.
During the sentencing hearing, Sheriff William Wood addressed Morrison directly, stating, “You’ve caused people a great deal of concern over the last few months.
You have accumulated a lot of cases.
You must understand that if you carry on in this way, you might end up in prison and nobody wants that.” As part of his sentence, Morrison was placed on supervision for a period of 12 months and was issued a non-harassment order, which mandated that he stay away from the woman involved in the case.
Additional details revealed that between September 23 and 24, 2020, Morrison engaged in threatening behavior by repeatedly telling his partner that he intended to kill himself, a conduct that was deemed threatening or abusive and likely to cause fear or alarm.
The court deferred sentencing on this particular charge to consider whether to impose another non-harassment order.
