SHANE GORMAN CAUGHT IN HULL WITH CHILD SEXUAL OFFENCES BY POLICE AND PAEDOPHILE HUNTERS
In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Hull, Shane Gorman, aged 35, has been convicted of engaging in inappropriate and illegal online communications with what he believed were underage girls.The incidents, which took place over a span of nearly a year, involved Gorman exchanging explicit messages and images with decoy profiles set up by police and paedophile hunter groups, highlighting a troubling pattern of predatory behavior.
According to court proceedings at Hull Crown Court, Gorman first came under police scrutiny in 2021 after being confronted by paedophile hunters who had created fake profiles of young girls, one aged 14 and another aged 12.
Despite being warned and investigated, Gorman continued his illicit activities.
On September 7, 2021, he attempted to communicate sexually with a decoy girl, making lewd comments and requesting explicit images.
He asked the decoy if she wanted to see intimate pictures of him on Snapchat and inquired about her underwear, further demonstrating his inappropriate intentions.
