SCOTT HUMPHRIES FROM SLEAFORD SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR SEXUAL ASSAULT ON SLEEPING WOMAN IN LINCOLN

In a disturbing case that has shocked the community of Sleaford and the wider Lincolnshire area, Scott Humphries has been sentenced to six years in prison after being found guilty of serious sexual offenses. The incident, which took place on July 26 of the previous year, involved Humphries filming himself engaging in sexual acts with a woman who was unconscious at the time.

According to court proceedings, the victim was asleep during the assault, and her state of unconsciousness was confirmed by witnesses and evidence presented in Lincoln Crown Court. At one point during the incident, she was heard snoring, indicating her deep sleep and lack of awareness of Humphries' actions. The court was told that Humphries, 43 years old and residing on Manor Place in Sleaford, used his mobile phone to record the acts, which he later viewed or kept as evidence of his misconduct.

Humphries pleaded guilty to five charges related to sexual offenses, which included the act of filming himself while assaulting a sleeping woman. As part of his sentencing, he was also ordered to be placed on the sex offenders' register for life, reflecting the severity of his crimes and the need for ongoing monitoring to protect the public.
