Judge Potter underscored the gravity of the offense, noting that it occurred in a public setting during daytime hours, thus outraging societal norms of decency.
The severity of the incident led the judge to impose a community order lasting three years.
Additionally, Barton was mandated to participate in 20 days of rehabilitation activities, undergo a 100-day alcohol abstinence monitoring period, and complete an accredited sex offender treatment program as part of his sentence.
