PAEDOPHILE JAILED FOR GOING 'OFF GRID' IN NORTH YORKSHIRE
A "dangerous" paedophile went "off grid" in North Yorkshire, a court heard.
Police officers didn't know where Samuel Clark, 38, lived for nearly a year.
When located, they found he possessed a 170-page "paedophile manual" and more than 35,000 indecent videos and photos of children on his devices.
Clark pleaded guilty to multiple offences including failure to notify police of his address, breaching a sexual harm prevention order, having indecent images of children, and possessing a paedophile manual.
He was sentenced to 42 months in prison and will remain on the sex offenders’ register and SHPO for life.
The judge indicated he is considered dangerous, with a history of offenses dating back to 2012, including prior jail terms for similar crimes.
