SALIH DOUD MUHAMADAIM JAILED FOR 13 YEARS EACH AFTER SEXUAL ASSAULT IN HUDDERSFIELD AND LEEDS
In a disturbing case that has shocked the communities of Huddersfield and Leeds, three men were convicted and subsequently sentenced to lengthy prison terms following a serious sexual assault involving a teenage girl.The incident took place in the early hours of July 14, 2019, within the subway beneath the A62 Castlegate, a location that connects key parts of Huddersfield town centre.

Bahaldin Doud received a similar sentence of 13 years for two counts of attempted rape.
The sentencing of Saddam Muhamadaim, whose hearing was postponed until July 5, resulted in a 13-year term for three counts of rape and one count of attempted rape.
The judge overseeing the case praised the investigative team for their diligent work in bringing the offenders to justice.
