RYAN KINGSTREE FROM DUMFRIES SENT SEXUALLY EXPLICIT PICTURES TO 13-YEAR-OLD GIRL

In October 2016, a disturbing case emerged involving an 18-year-old man from Dumfries named Ryan Kingstree. The incident centered around Kingstree sending explicit images of his private parts, commonly known as 'dick pictures,' along with sexually explicit messages, to a young girl who was only 13 years old. The inappropriate communications took place over a period spanning several months, specifically from December of the previous year through June of that year.

Kingstree, who resides on McGeoch Drive in Dumfries, admitted to the authorities that he had engaged in these actions on multiple occasions. His behavior raised serious concerns about the safety and well-being of the young girl involved, prompting legal action to be taken against him.

During the court proceedings, Sheriff Brian Mohan sentenced Kingstree to be registered as a sex offender for a period of six months. This registration is a legal requirement for individuals convicted of sexual offenses, aimed at monitoring and preventing further misconduct.

In addition to the registration, Sheriff Mohan imposed a supervision order on Kingstree for the same duration of six months. This supervision order involves regular monitoring and potentially other conditions intended to ensure that Kingstree remains compliant with legal and behavioral expectations, and to protect the community from any future offenses.
