LIVERPOOL MAN, 37, JAILED FOR VIOLENT DOMESTIC ABUSE AND STREET ASSAULTS
A man named Roy Fagan, aged 37, has been convicted of multiple acts of domestic abuse and violence against past and current partners.
Liverpool Crown Court heard that Fagan has a lengthy history of violent behavior, including assaults dating back to 2006.
Most recently, he attacked his ex-girlfriend, leaving her severely injured and requiring dentures.
During the trial, it was revealed that Fagan ambushed his former partner on the street after their breakup, causing facial injuries and knocking out her teeth, which resulted in her needing dentures and having six teeth removed.
Fagan's aggressive behavior was further documented through a series of street attacks, including an incident where he punched her multiple times after she refused to rekindle their relationship.
The court also detailed his previous convictions, including four assaults in 2006, and his breaching of restraining orders.
Fagan had been jailed multiple times for domestic violence and breaching legal orders, and his pattern of possessiveness, jealousy, and violence was evident.
Despite showing some signs of positive behavior in prison, such as completing substance misuse and behavioral courses, he was ultimately sentenced to three years in prison by Judge David Aubrey, QC, who described him as 'possessive, jealous, aggressive and violent.' The judge emphasized that Fagan had not changed and labeled him a significant threat to his partners.
