CRANBROOK MAN ROGAN SPINKS CAUGHT WITH INDECENT IMAGES OF CHILDREN IN EXETER

In a case that has shocked the local community of Cranbrook, Rogan Spinks, a 24-year-old resident of St Michaels Way, found himself in serious legal trouble after being caught possessing indecent images of children. The incident came to light when Spinks appeared before Exeter Magistrates Court to face charges related to the creation and possession of such illicit material.

During the court proceedings, it was revealed that Spinks had pleaded guilty to making indecent photographs of a child. The court was informed that the images were produced between May 1, 2017, and September 23, 2017, at a property located in the Whipton area of Exeter. Spinks, who has publicly claimed to be a Satanist and has expressed interest in studying the occult and devil worship, was identified as the individual responsible for these disturbing images.

The court considered the details of the case carefully before passing sentence. Rather than imprisonment, Spinks was given a community order that requires him to participate in an accredited sexual offending programme for a duration of 30 days. This measure aims to address his behavior and prevent future offenses.

In addition to the community order, Spinks was ordered to pay a surcharge of £85, which is designated to fund victim support services. He was also required to pay £85 in court costs to the Crown Prosecution Service. To further ensure public safety, a sexual harm prevention order was imposed, which will remain in effect until April 10, 2024. As part of his legal obligations, Spinks was also instructed to register as a sex offender, a step that underscores the seriousness of his actions and the ongoing monitoring by authorities.
