In a disturbing case that has shocked the Nottingham community, Robson Thompson, a 25-year-old man with no fixed address but known to reside in Nottingham, has been sentenced to prison for a series of heinous sexual offenses committed against a young boy.

The case came to light after a thorough investigation by Nottinghamshire Police, which uncovered evidence of multiple assaults that had previously gone unreported.

Thompson initially appeared in court and pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting the young boy during a prior hearing.

However, he denied any involvement in additional charges of sexual abuse at that time.

On Friday, August 13, at Nottingham Crown Court, Thompson was sentenced to 12 years in prison.
