July 2018 Robert Robinson jailed for child sex crimes in Oxfordshire A sex offender who committed a catalogue of ‘horrific’ crimes against children has been jailed for more than 11 years. Robert Robinson was sentenced for crimes carried out in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire between 1975 and 2000, involving four victims each under the age of 11.  The 56-year-old, of no fixed address, was found guilty of 17 counts and jailed for 11 years and six months. A unanimous jury at Oxford Crown Court deemed him guilty of: – Six counts of indecent assault of a girl under 14 – Six counts of indecency with a child – Five counts of indecent assault of a boy Robinson was sentenced on Friday following a 10-day trial, having been arrested in July 2016 and charged 12 months later.
