ROBERT MUNT FROM CINDERFORD SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS FOR RAPE IN SCANDINAVIA

A man named Robert Munt, originally from Cinderford, has been sentenced to a decade in prison after being convicted of a serious sexual offence committed nearly 40 years ago. The conviction follows a comprehensive police investigation that successfully located Munt in Sweden, where he had fled to escape justice.

The case against Munt was brought to a close at Gloucester Crown Court, where he faced charges of male rape.
