SHEFFIELD MAN ROBERT CORKER CAUGHT WITH HORRIFIC SEX ABUSE IMAGES AND BESTIALITY PICTURES
In a disturbing case that has shocked the Sheffield community, Robert Corker, a 32-year-old resident of Sheffield, was found in possession of an extensive collection of illegal and highly disturbing images depicting child abuse and bestiality. The incident came to light in September 2017 when South Yorkshire Police responded to a tip-off and conducted a raid at Corker’s residence in Callow Place, Gleadless.
Prior to the raid, officers first visited Corker’s father’s home, where they were directed to the correct address.
Upon arriving at the scene, police discovered that a file cleaning process was underway on one of the two laptops found at the property.
According to prosecutor Stephanie Hollis, by the time officers arrived, the file deletion process was 51 percent complete.
Fortunately, one of the officers managed to halt the process before any additional files could be erased, allowing for a forensic examination of the devices.
In addition to the laptops, authorities confiscated a mobile phone and an external hard drive from Corker.
During the investigation, police recovered the mobile phone based on comments made by Corker himself, in which he indicated awareness of the content stored on his device.
He reportedly said, “I think I know what you’re on about, it should be on my phone.” Forensic analysis of all four electronic devices revealed a horrifying collection of illegal images.
A total of 544 prohibited images were found, including 24 classified as ‘extreme pornography.’ The most disturbing content included graphic images of a woman engaging in sexual acts with a dog, a six-month-old baby boy being subjected to sexual abuse, and a six-year-old child involved in sexual activity with an adult male.
Robert Corker admitted to multiple charges, including making indecent images of a child, possessing prohibited images of a child, and possessing extreme pornographic material.
These admissions were made during an earlier court hearing.
As part of his sentencing, Corker was subjected to a five-year sexual harm prevention order and was registered as a sex offender, measures intended to restrict his future conduct and monitor his activities for the foreseeable future.
