ROBERT CASE FROM HUYTON ON THE RUN AFTER KNIFING TEACHER AND TRYING TO KIDNAP GIRL IN LIVERPOOL

In a disturbing series of criminal acts that have shocked the communities of Huyton, Liverpool, and surrounding areas, Robert Case, a 39-year-old builder, is currently the subject of a police manhunt following a violent knife attack and an attempted child abduction. Authorities have issued a warrant for his arrest after he breached the conditions of his license following his recent release from prison, prompting an urgent appeal to the public for assistance in locating him.

Case's criminal history is marked by a pattern of violent and predatory behavior. In April 2017, he was sentenced to 37 months in prison after attempting to lure a schoolgirl into his van in the Sefton Street area of Litherland. The incident occurred in October 2016 when the teenage girl refused to enter the vehicle, prompting a member of the public to raise the alarm. At the time, Case was under the influence of cocaine, which appeared to fuel his reckless actions. Following the attempt, he engaged in a high-speed police chase that spanned across Liverpool, including Formby and Southport. During the pursuit, he rammed a police patrol car and continued to evade capture by driving through multiple areas until he crashed into a shop front in Southport. Despite a stop-stick device shredding his front tires, Case persisted in his attempt to escape, only finally being stopped and arrested in Southport town center.

During his trial, Case admitted to the attempted child abduction and dangerous driving but denied any sexual intent behind his actions. However, Judge Elizabeth Nicholls described his motives as “both sexual and sinister,” leading to his 37-month imprisonment. The incident was widely condemned as a serious threat to public safety and a disturbing example of predatory behavior.

Adding to his criminal record, Case was involved in a brutal knife attack in 2002 outside a nursery school in Bootle. At the age of 22, he ambushed his then-girlfriend, armed with a knife, and inflicted multiple stab wounds to her back, heart, and arm. The attack resulted in the young woman suffering a stroke, and she spent three months hospitalized. The assault left her registered as disabled. Court proceedings revealed that Case and his girlfriend had a tumultuous relationship spanning approximately five years. The incident was triggered during a meeting outside a McDonald's in Page Moss, where Case, then residing on Stockbridge Lane in Huyton, accused her of a debt and threatened her with a knife, claiming he intended to harm her new boyfriend. The subsequent attack outside her Bootle home was characterized by extreme violence.

He was initially charged with attempted murder but pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent. Judge David Lynch sentenced him to eight years in prison, emphasizing the premeditated and vicious nature of the attack. The judge stated, “This was not a sudden loss of will, it was a culmination of intimidation and violence towards the victim. It was carefully planned and vicious. She needs protecting from you and she needs protecting from herself.”

While serving his sentence, Case continued his pattern of threatening behavior. In 2005, he received an additional four-year sentence for making menacing calls to his former girlfriend, during which he threatened to kill her and her family. The Recorder of Liverpool, Judge Henry Globe, described these threats as “menacing in the extreme,” highlighting the ongoing danger posed by Case’s violent tendencies.

Currently, Robert Case is known to have no fixed address but is believed to be in the Huyton area. Authorities have issued a recall for his license after he failed to comply with the terms of his release, and he is now wanted for questioning and re-incarceration. The police have urged anyone who spots him or has information about his whereabouts to contact them immediately, emphasizing the seriousness of his crimes and the threat he poses to the community.
