ROBERT BROWNBILL FROM CROSBY SENTENCED TO 10 YEARS FOR REPEATED SEXUAL ABUSE OF YOUNG GIRL

In a case that has shocked the community of Crosby, Robert Brownbill, a 35-year-old man, was sentenced to a decade behind bars after being found guilty of multiple sexual offenses involving a young girl. The court heard that Brownbill’s offending behavior first came to light in 2004, when allegations of abuse were initially made. At that time, he ceased his inappropriate actions, leading to a temporary halt in his criminal activity. However, just a few months later, Brownbill resumed his abusive conduct, and it was not until two years later that authorities were finally alerted to his actions.

Judge Nigel Gilmour, QC, presided over the case and addressed Brownbill directly during the sentencing.
