June 2014: Jones has now been released  March 2013 Man convicted of sexual activity with 14 year old girl A pervert from Ellesmere who groomed a schoolgirl on facebook with a promise of drugs and alcohol before having sex with her on numerous occasions has been jailed Ricky Aaron Jones, of Ellesmere knew full well the schoolgirls age when he targeted her via facebook for sex. The local small time drug dealer also had several sexual encounters with other local young girls. Jones appeared before Shrewsbury crown court, and was found guilty of two counts of sexual activity with a child. Other victims were reluctant to come forward. Jones was also convicted of supplying/offering to supply a controlled drug of class B to another person Jones received 12 months imprisonment for the two counts of sexual activity with a child aged under 16 years old He was also given a consecutive sentence for Supplying and a consecutive sentence for offering to supply a class B drug which totalled 3 years imprisonment The judge disqualified Jones from working with children for life. The judge ordered Jones to sign the sex offenders register for life. And he was also placed on a sexual offences prevention order for a period of five years
