RICHARD WALBY FROM UXBRIDGE SENTENCED TO 23 YEARS FOR CHILD SEX OFFENSES IN CORNWALL AND ESSEX

In a case that has shocked the local community and beyond, Richard Walby, a 48-year-old man from Uxbridge, Middlesex, has been sentenced to a lengthy prison term of 23 years after being convicted of multiple serious sexual offenses involving a young girl. The crimes, which spanned over several years, involved grooming, sexual assault, and abuse of a vulnerable 11-year-old girl whom he met at dance classes in the early 2000s.

Walby’s criminal actions first came to light during the trial at Truro Crown Court, where evidence revealed that he had begun abusing the girl when she was just 11 years old.
