RICHARD PATON FROM GLASGOW AND NAIRN JAILED FOR CHILD PORNOGRAPHY OFFENSES
In a case that has drawn significant attention, Richard Paton, a 44-year-old man originally from Nairn and currently residing in Glasgow, has been sentenced to 15 months in prison by Inverness Sheriff Court.The conviction stems from his admitted possession of indecent images of children, a serious criminal offense that has profound implications for community safety and child protection.

The court heard that the images and videos were stored on devices owned by Paton, with the material being dated between July 6 and November 29, 2012.
