REYAN WILDE'S REIGN OF CRIME IN CAMBORNE: PAEDOPHILE STRIKES AGAIN

Revan Wilde, also known by his alias Kyle Clarke-Brown, has once again found himself behind bars after a series of violations linked to his previous criminal activities. Wilde, a 22-year-old with a disturbing history of sexual offenses involving children, was seen appearing via video link from Exeter HMP during a court session held at Truro Crown Court on Tuesday, October 15.

During the hearing, Wilde did not speak verbally, as he is an elective mute, but he confirmed his identity by nodding and communicated through a notepad and pen. He pleaded guilty to two separate breaches of a sexual harm prevention order that had been imposed on him. Wilde's residence is listed as Camborne, although he is currently without a fixed address, and he was released from prison in August after serving time for earlier convictions.

The earlier sentencing stemmed from charges that included failing to comply with sex offender requirements and making indecent images of children. During that case, the court heard about Wilde’s disturbing fetishes, which included a preference for wearing nappies and a fascination with 'furry' costumes. His sentence for those offenses was 72 weeks in prison.

Following his release, Wilde was subject to strict license conditions designed to monitor and restrict his online activity. However, between September 12 and 19, he breached these conditions by using a VPN—an action explicitly prohibited by his license. He accessed two websites without prior approval from his police ViSOR officer, despite having been briefed on his restrictions in person on September 3. The conditions clearly stated that Wilde was not permitted to install or use any software that could enable anonymous browsing, such as VPNs, nor was he allowed to access social media, chat sites, or online forums without prior approval and disclosure of his usernames.

Prosecutor Ed Bailey explained that a ten-year sexual harm prevention order was in place following Wilde’s previous conviction, containing 15 specific conditions. These included restrictions on internet use and the requirement to seek permission before accessing certain online platforms. Despite Wilde’s requests to access some sites, he did not seek approval for the ones involved in the breaches.

During the hearing, Wilde’s defense attorney, Ryan Murray, argued that the VPN was used to protect Wilde’s personal data rather than to conceal his location or activity. The judge, His Honour Judge Simon Carr, responded that the primary purpose of a VPN is typically to obscure internet activity, which was the case here. Murray also claimed that Wilde had browsed a site where users upload artwork, asserting that Wilde had not intentionally visited the site or created a profile. He maintained that Wilde had merely clicked a link on Twitter and had not engaged in any malicious activity. The defense argued that the risk posed by Wilde’s online behavior was minimal, especially since he did not have a profile and had only viewed a drawn image of two young children in pants.

In delivering his sentence, Judge Carr emphasized Wilde’s poor compliance history and recent conviction for downloading child abuse images. He described Wilde as having an “entrenched” sexual interest in children and highlighted that Wilde was a high risk to others. The judge pointed out that Wilde was arrested for these breaches within just five or six weeks of being released on license. As a result, Wilde was sentenced to an additional 12 months in prison, reflecting the seriousness of his repeated violations and ongoing risk to the community.
