HEREFORDSHIRE SEX OFFENDER CAUGHT SENDING EXPLICIT PICTURES
A HEREFORDSHIRE man was caught sending explicit pictures to children, a court has heard.
Reginald Vaughan entered guilty pleas to three counts of attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child and breaching a sexual harm prevention order when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster earlier this month.
Vaughan had been caught attempting to communicate with three girls under the age of 16 on August 4, prosecutor Camila Toscano told the court.
He had sent explicit images of himself, as well as messages and voice notes, and requested explicit photographs of one of the children.
He admitted attempting to communicate with the children, which breached a sexual harm prevention order in place since last year, when he was caught communicating with adult decoy accounts on social media that were posing as children in a paedophile hunter sting.
Magistrates committed him to crown court for sentencing.
Vaughan, 49, of Farmeadow Road, Leominster, has been remanded in custody.
