REGINALD TAGOE SENTENCED IN SOUTHAMPTON FOR SEXUAL OFFENSES IN PEMBROKESHIRE

In a case that has shocked the community, Reginald Tagoe, a 52-year-old man with ties to Southampton, was sentenced to ten and a half years in prison for a series of heinous sexual offenses involving young girls. The crimes took place during 1999 and 2000 in Pembrokeshire, where Tagoe had established a disturbing pattern of predatory behavior.

Tagoe, a former railway worker, was convicted at Swansea Crown Court after a jury found him guilty of two counts of rape and three counts of indecent assault. All of his victims were under the age of ten, highlighting the severity and depravity of his actions. Throughout the trial, Tagoe maintained his innocence, denying all charges brought against him.

The court heard that Tagoe had gained the trust of the girls' parents by befriending them while living in an old ambulance.
