PHIL HUDSON SHOCKS LIVERPOOL WITH CHILD SEX OFFENCES AND EXTREME PORNOGRAPHY
A disturbing case has emerged involving Phil Hudson, a 33-year-old man from Liverpool, who has been found guilty of multiple child sex offences and possession of extreme pornography. The incident has sent shockwaves through the local community, highlighting the severity of his crimes and the disturbing nature of his actions.
According to court proceedings at Liverpool Crown Court, the case came to light after Hudson’s former partner reported his inappropriate and disturbing behavior.
Three months after their breakup, she visited Huyton police station to disclose that Hudson had been making unsettling remarks about a child, which she found deeply troubling.
Prosecutor Kate Morley revealed that she told officers, “he started to disclose his fantasies and desires around children,” raising serious concerns about his mental state and intentions.
Further investigation uncovered a shocking video that Hudson had sent to his former partner.
The footage, which she still possessed on her phone, depicted Hudson engaging in sexual activity in front of a young girl.
The video lasted just over a minute and showed Hudson, naked, holding his phone and performing a sex act while a young girl was present in the scene.
This explicit material was handed over to authorities for examination.
Police acted swiftly, arresting Hudson at his home in Garston on June 15.
During his arrest, he was heard to exclaim, “What have I done?” His reaction reflected a mixture of shock and remorse.
Hudson explained that he had previously been involved in a brief relationship with his former partner, which he described as “a fling,” and claimed that he had to leave his job at Pets at Home because of her accusations of serious offences.
Forensic analysis of Hudson’s mobile phone revealed a disturbing collection of illicit material.
Officers discovered seven indecent images of children, along with extreme pornography.
When questioned, Hudson, who has no prior criminal record, initially denied any interest in children.
However, he later pleaded guilty to nine child sex offences and possession of extreme pornography, acknowledging the gravity of his actions.
During the court hearing, Miss Morley detailed the evidence, including a video lasting just over a minute, which Hudson had sent to his former partner.
The video showed him performing a sexual act in front of a young girl, with Hudson naked and recording the incident.
Additionally, a similar nine-second video was found on his phone, further implicating him.
The indecent photographs recovered depicted boys and girls aged between eight and 14, underscoring the disturbing nature of his offending.
Hudson, formerly residing on Lincoln Street in Garston, admitted to multiple charges, including engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, taking and distributing the indecent video, creating and possessing indecent images of children, possessing a prohibited image, and possessing six extreme pornographic images.
In his police interview, he claimed that he had sent the video to his ex-girlfriend because he believed she was interested in such material, but he had since deleted it out of shame.
He also admitted to having thoughts about bestiality, though he insisted he had no intention of acting on them.
His legal representative, Peter White, acknowledged that Hudson’s behavior indicated an unhealthy interest that needed addressing.
The court was informed that Hudson no longer maintained denial of his guilt and accepted responsibility for his actions.
White emphasized the importance of rehabilitation, suggesting that Hudson could benefit from courses designed to address his issues.
In sentencing, Judge Recorder Eric Lamb sentenced Hudson to 27 months in prison.
He expressed his shock at the case, noting that it was unusual for someone with no prior convictions to be involved in such grave offences at the age of 33.
The judge condemned Hudson’s treatment of the young girl, stating, “It will come as a considerable surprise to discover someone such as yourself, who had not been in trouble before, at the age of 33 comes before the court for such serious and grave offences.” He further stated, “You told police you did not have a sexual interest in children.
Your actions belie that which you said to the police,” highlighting the discrepancy between Hudson’s words and actions.
As part of his sentence, Hudson was ordered to sign the Sex Offenders Register for ten years and was subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for the same duration, aimed at protecting the community from further harm.
