FOLKESTONE SEX OFFENDER PETER WROTCHFORD JAILED FOR PLANNED, PREDATORY ABUSE

A dangerous sex offender named Peter Wrotchford from Folkestone has been sentenced for a series of heinous crimes. He was previously imprisoned for 18 years after posing as a taxi driver to carry out sexual attacks on an unconscious teenager. Recently, he was convicted of sexually abusing a young girl in Folkestone, having targeted and groomed her before molesting her. Wrotchford warned her not to tell anyone with threats of consequences, but the victim bravely confided in police, even demonstrating her ordeal with Play-Doh. Officers found a 'Peter's Memory Box' under his bed containing sex toys, including a rubber child's torso. Wrotchford, who denied the abuse, was convicted of two counts of assault by penetration. He was sentenced to an additional six years in prison, to be served consecutively to his previous sentence, totaling at least 24 years. The judge described him as a 'victim-blaming, sexually-preoccupied predator' with no remorse and noted his continued denial and lack of empathy. His recent crimes predate his abduction and rape of a drunk woman in 2022, where he falsely portrayed himself as a cab driver to commit sex attacks during a four-hour ordeal. He now faces lifetime sex offender notification and restrictions after serving his sentence. Wrotchford's case highlights his targeting of vulnerable victims based on their age or inability to consent, and he remains a high risk of harm to the community.
