CHARD MAN JAILED FOR INDECENT ASSAULT

A MAN from Chard has been jailed for 12 years for indecent assault on a girl under the age of 14 years old.

Peter Tanswell, formerly of Bondfield Way, appeared at Bristol Crown Court on February 14 2025.

The 69-year-old was found guilty of four counts of indecent assault during a trial in November 2024.
