TAUNTON MAN DOWNLOADED OVER 50 CHILD PORN IMAGES TO BE SENTENCED
A TAUNTON man who downloaded over 50 pornographic pictures of children and also accessed extreme pornography showing humans having sex with worms and centipedes is to be sentenced tomorrow (August 29).
Peter Ian Burgess appeared in the dock before District Judge Angela Brereton, sitting at Yeovil, facing four separate offences alleged to have been committed in Chard.
The 20-year-old of East Reach, pleaded guilty that between July 11, 2021, and August 24, 2022, he made 10 indecent photographs of a child in the most serious Category A.
He also admitted two similar charges involving two Category B Images and 44 Category C images.
He further admitted being in possession of extreme pornographic images which portrayed in an explicit and realistic way a person performing sexual intercourse with worms and centipedes, which was grossly offensive, disgusting or of an obscene character.
