PETER BROWN PLYMOUTH SWIM INSTRUCTOR JAILED FOR CHILD ABUSE IN LUTON AND BEYOND
In a disturbing case that has shocked the local community, Peter Brown, a former swimming instructor from Plymouth, has been sentenced to prison for heinous acts of child abuse committed during his time working in Luton.The offences, which spanned several years, involved sexual assaults against a teenage boy and have now resulted in Brown facing justice.
Between the years 1980 and 1984, Peter Brown was employed as a swim instructor in Luton, a role that he used to exploit his position of trust.
During this period, he engaged in multiple acts of sexual misconduct against a teenage male, acts that the victim later reported to authorities.
The victim recounted that Brown inappropriately touched him on several occasions and also coerced him into touching Brown inappropriately, with these incidents occurring at various locations within Luton and at other sites across the country.
Brown, who is now 71 years old and resides on Ashery Drive in Plymouth, was brought to trial after the allegations came to light.
The court proceedings revealed the extent of his misconduct, leading to a conviction on multiple counts.
Specifically, he was found guilty of two counts of indecent assault on a male and two counts of indecent assault with a child.

On Friday, August 4th, at Luton Crown Court, Peter Brown was sentenced to three years and six months in prison.
