PAUL STOCKWELL SENTENCED IN LEEDS FOR SEXUAL ABUSE OF TEENAGER

A 74-year-old man from Leeds, Paul Stockwell, has been handed a four-year prison sentence after being found guilty of multiple sexual offenses involving a teenage girl. The conviction follows a trial held in April at Leeds Crown Court, where the jury determined that Stockwell engaged in sexual activity with a girl aged between 13 and 15 years old. The court was informed that the victim was left feeling crushed, devastated, and suffering from depression as a direct result of the abuse she endured.

During the proceedings, it was revealed that Stockwell, who resides on Ring Road in Beeston, had no prior criminal record before this incident. The court also learned that he had attempted to take his own life, which was considered during sentencing.
